Eugene T. Mahoney State Park

Located midway between Nebraska’s two largest cities, Lincoln and Omaha, this modern state park is the perfect year-round destination for a family escape. Located along the Platte River between Omaha and Lincoln, this park offers modern cabins, lodge rooms, and RV and tent camping. Activities vary by season and include horseback trail rides, nature trails, a marina, fishing, sports fields, an indoor theater, an aquatic center with slides and a wave pool, crafts, miniature golf, a driving range and winter sports. An Activity Center with a 42-foot climbing wall and large indoor playground is open year-round. The Nature Center and Conservatory offers live animal exhibits and interactive activities, and the park has multiple conference facilities to rent. A park entry permit is required, and activities have variable admission fees.
