In an episode of the Fox TV drama “Bones”, a character made a mix of “the five greatest break-up songs” and gave it to a heart-broken colleague. The mix featured songs from alternative pop stars Sia, Mazzy Star, José González, Antony and the Johnsons…and an unsigned artist by the name of Aaron English.

Nashville-based singer-songwriter/pianist Aaron English’s soul-searching songs are soulful, sophisticated, cinematic…and filled with echoes of his travels through Africa, Brazil and the Middle East. His nine self-released albums and EPs have drawn comparisons to Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, James Blunt, David Gray, Sting, and Robert Plant.

Aaron divides his time between touring in the U.S. and Europe, his charity efforts in Africa, livestream concerts on StageIt.com, and long-distance collaborations with musicians around the world.
