Whether you are a hunter looking to sharpen your skills, searching for a tournament or just picking up the sport, Nebraska has plenty of long-running archery ranges and clubs to fit you. Here are 10 of them to take aim at.

Orion Archery Club – Blair

A club for all ages serving the Missouri River Valley, Orion includes a 3-D format great for fine-turning before bowhunting season.

Plate Valley Archers, Inc. – Columbus

Platte Valley has promoted archery for 50 years, from youth education to major tournaments. Its big event the annual 300-3-D Shoot.

Fremont Archery Club – Fremont

A non-profit dedicated to education for all ages, this spot offers 24-hour access for members and has a range of classes, programs and tournaments.

Archery Solutions LLC – Hastings

If you’re looking for an indoor facility in south central Nebraska, Archery Solutions is for you. They have 3D and paper target shooting, and their facility is available for educational and competitive events.

Cottonwood Archery Club – Juniata

A few miles north of Hastings, Cottonwood has an indoor range and has a Junior Olympic Archery Development program and affiliations with USA Archery.

Prairie Bowmen Archery Club – Lincoln

With a history spanning more than 70 years, Prairie Bowmen has a private range open 24/7 for members and Target and 3-D leagues and tournaments. Their affiliations with multiple national organizations bring in competitors from around the country,

Turpin Outdoor Education Center – Lincoln

Nebraska Game and Parks’ premier range has indoor and outdoor archery and offers educational programming, day camps and instructions as well as day and annual passes.

Platte River State Park – Louisville

Visitors to this picturesque Nebraska state park should also try out the Roger G. Sykes Outdoor Heritage Education Complex. The outdoor range has 3-D and target shooting, as well as expert instruction available.

Norfolk Archery Club – Norfolk

Norfolk Archery Club has a simple mission statement – “To Have Fun Shooting Arrows.” Whether you are a hunter, a target shooter or are looking for leagues or events, this is an ideal spot in northeast Nebraska to accomplish that mission. Indoor and outdoor ranges are available.

Golden Arrow Archery Club – Omaha 

Archers in the metro area should check out Golden Arrow, home to a handicap accessible outdoor range and an indoor option.
